So I survived finals week, and am quite satisfied with my grades this term. And guess what...SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER.

I wish that I could tell you that all has been great since school has been out 2 days ago, but I have felt like death the past two days. Headaches and sore throats isn't exactly as good as going to the beach, but I did dig up some pictures that I styled and took.
The one on the top is over edited, but one of my favorite grandpa sweaters, straight from the 80's. Also I adored the mocs that I had on untill I completely trashed them in mud a couple weeks ago. Not the smartest move.
But the picture below is my little sister that I dressed up. The skirt is from Urban Outfitters and snagged it off the sales rack for 5 bucks. The fringed bag is from forever 21 and shoes from good old target.

i like coffee, i like tea.

School this week is going to be a pain.
Thinking about 3 finals makes me feel sick, but thinking about how this is my last week makes me feel rather pleased.

Ok, so I'm done with my babbling, but I have been really into denim tops lately. They make me feel all midwestern.

Also, I wish people would stop hating on brown and black convos. So I know some people butcher that look, but I don't think it's too bad.

(hence my brown shoes with black tights)

French nautical is my new love. I love stripes soooooo much. I honestly have at least 10 striped garmets in my closet to say a few. The striped shirt I am wearing above is actually a short sleave cabble knit sweater. It's great, and I got it for only $3.00.

(It's almost embarassing how I can find clothes that cheap).

The shoes are actually my sisters, and she picked them up at Target. If there is one thing I love more then stripes, its Target. That store is fantastic, nough said. Living in a small town makes that store even more appealing, I have to drive a good hour or so to get to some major retail stores, but target is defeniantly a great exception.

...because she's a wizard.

So I have this sister Abbey.

(Cool story, Emily)

Lets just say she is pretty much my living manikan;

So I have lots of fun dressing her up.
Her full outfit cost under 20 bucks.
(I'm pretty proud of that myself)
So to start off, when I go looking for pieces that are unique, I go to one of these two pieces.
1.) Vintage Consignment Shop
2.) My parents closet
Those are my favorite places because, they are so cheap and you are almost always guaranteed that you won't see someone on the street wearing the same thing as you.
Tales of Boys, Girls, and Marsupials-The Wombats.

There's always a start to something.

I have always promised myself I would never start a blog.
Because simply I have never had much to blog about.
Ironicly, here I am anyhow.
But recently I have gotten into looking at fashion blog's from cool cat's around the world, and I wanted to give it a try.
I know, kinda cheesy.
But to get one thing straight before I go gallivanting along, on this blog you are most likely to not find a strand of designer clothes items, because simply....I'm too cheap.
So to get to the point
forgive my babbling
I want to show that you can be a bargan hunter
like myself
and have fun styling too.
So anyhoo, here we go.
