So I took these pictures a good 6 months ago but have been too lazy to upload them, so I just decided to kill five birds with one stone.
Yeah.
So I bought all of these while thrifting, and almost everything cost under $1.00 except for the purple skirt ($5.00 ya'll). mmmmmm.

"Tell me what you saw in me, and I will try to replicate it with a scene."

Just creeping again, sorry.

Yes, I used to be in musical theatre.
Yes, that was an odd time in my life. Yes, I still enjoy wearing Broadway show t-shirts.
Cats, West Side Story, Les Mis', etc. Take your pick.

When I was younger,
(ready for a lil' anecdote)

I used to honestly think that I could be a Broadway Star.
I was never a very outgoing person, but when I was stage, I wanted everyone to take notice of me. I wanted to be heard. I went years on end of performing in 3-5 shows a season, and I was convinced that it was what I wanted to do forever. Before I knew it, the "cool teen" stage clicked in my head and I decided to stop shows cold turkey. I went about two years of not performing in anything. Not too long ago, I decided to give it a go again. I can honestly say that I did not feel a sliver of the enjoyment I used to gain when I walked on stage. When I stepped in front of the audience, it really made me realize how much I have changed in two short years. I didn't want the attention focused on me at all.
(blah blah blah, off on a tangent again, blah blah blah)

Well, what I am attempting to get across here is that wearing t-shirts like that bring back the excitement I used to gain from musicals, something that I don't experience on a daily basis anymore.

An outfit can really bring back some weird memories and feelings.

"We're keepin' our little heads from falling in the snow."

Going cray-cray. Fo' reelz.

Here I am once again.
It almost seems as if I decide to start blogging when I have nothing to talk about.
I would like to say that something about myself has changed immensely since I last posted, but I really am just the same person as I was two years ago when I started this.
Well I think I grew a few inches if the accounts to much.

Well, since I have nothing too controversial to talk about, I think I will talk about clothes. I just really like clothes.
A couple weeks ago a ventured off to a nickle sale a thrift shop in town.
Yes, everything did cost 5 cents. I bought the whole store for $3.00(not really, those grandma's get pretty possessive over the racks.)
Well any who, my friend and I spent about 15 minutes in there and found a couple of jems. He found some nifty shoes, and I found this polka dot dress among some other wonderful polyester creations.
Please call me Minnie Mouse.

I paired the dress with a grandpa sweater (quite literally my grandpa's sweater), a brown belt, and stained glass earrings. If I had to estimate, I think this whole outfit cost me around $2.50 at most.
Yes, I am cheap. Thank you.

"We can travel the world without a sense of time."

So it's been a good five months since I have updated this blog.

Sorry to the 7 people who actually read this.

Well, to be plain a simple,

a lot has happened.

I've cut my hair off.
I've went to Europe.

I've grew 1 inch. I've lost track of time.

I really don't know where to start with all of this, so I'm not going to go there.

In the next couple of days I will post about London and Paris, but as of right now, I posted a picture to create suspense.

"mmm bop."

So I found my way on to topshop.com today.
(and easily went through a good 30 minutes snooping)
And I really liked some of the pieces I found.
PLUS +
Since I have been lacking in the sweater department, I might just need to scrounge up the moola to purchase the slouchy black and white knit.
(looking back at my old posts shows a peculiar pattern with striped shirts with me, its kinda a weakness.)

thanks for following me and stuff.

"Your face is good for my eyes."

This dress makes me happy.
While shopping at Forever 21 not too long ago, I came across this dress, and easily said, I fell in love.
(Not in a creepy "I want to marry this building" way.)
As soon as I found it, I went to the dressing room and had to try it on. Seeing that I kinda adored it, I had to take a picture.
(funny story, taking pictures isn't allowed in Forever 21, and when I did with the flash, they thought it was the girl in the dressing room next to mine. Lets just say they weren't too happy about it.)
Sadly, I ended up not getting it because there was no possible way to wear it with a bra, and that is a little necessary for myself. But to everyone out there, if you have $34.00 to spare, go and buy it. Trust me, its worth it.
(I just gave you a link becasue I am nice.)

"Hey Madeline.

I just blogged about you.

Ok, bye."

All things go, All things grow.

So, something pretty rad happened to me a couple days ago.
I FINALLY FOUND OXFORDS!
Even better yet, I got them for a wopping total of $4.38.
Not gonna lie, I bragged to at least 3 people today about them.
The only downside is that they are not nude, and I was really hoping that I could find some quality nude oxfords, but I went with the topey gray ones instead.
Im also having a really tough time with the whole sweater situation this fall in MN. I seriously have been sucking at putting any effort of adding sweaters to my wardrobe besides this GIGANTOR grandpa sweater.
(Im serious, its huge and my grandpas.)

On the other hand,

(to my whole 5 followers haha)

A friend of mine and myself decided that we are going to start partner blogging

(post links about eachothers blog on our blogs, etc.)

So here it is everyone, the fantastic ALEX CYERT.

http://alexcyert.blogspot.com/

Not gonna lie though, he does have some really sweet pictures on his blog; and he blogs alot more reguarly then myself so you all should check it out.
